Line Sensing
The M30 Autodialer Line Sensing Page

The Telephone Line Sensing Module works as either a plug in module for the M30 Autodialer or as a standalone module.

It continuously monitors the connected land line for

  • Faults
    • Total failure.
    • Drop in Voltage.
The M30 Autodialer Line Sensing Module
    • Engaged tone.
    • If someone intentionally or accidentally tries to block the M30 by blocking the line.

Once a Fault has been detected the Module can.

  • Tell the M30 to swap to a secondary Communication medium e.g. the GSM module.
  • initiate a local alarm e.g. sounder and or flashing light.

 

If the Line Sensing Module is used as a standalone module the following is required.

  • A 12 Vdc Power supply
  • Connection to a telephone line.
  • A sounder or strobe light for audible / Visual warning of a failed telephone line.
